Shower From My Sweet Class

I have a wonderful class this year, which I will miss very much when I am out on maternity leave.  My room mom and the rest of my parents got together to throw me a baby shower from the kids! It was the sweetest thing!  The kids loved it, and they also loved getting to eat cake of course.  They were so proud when I opened my gifts! It was so cute!  They are very interested in my pregnancy and the baby, especially the girls.  I hate that I have to leave them for six weeks, but it is so nice to hear them say that they will miss me and will be sad when I am gone.  I had them fill out this sheet for their memory books called "Read All About My 4th Grade Year" and one of the boxes they had to fill in was about a sad memory.  The majority of the class put "When Mrs. Swinsick has to leave".  I wanted to cry when I was reading them!  Enough with the sad stories!
