Baby Tea and Shower

I feel as though a gigantic burden has suddenly been lifted! God has definitely blessed Pat and me with so many friends and family that are amazing beyond belief! On February 28th, some of our friends hosted a baby tea for us at my home church where I grew up. For two straight hours, friends and family just continuously poured through the doors and showered us with so many wonderful things that will help us tremendously when welcoming and caring for our little one. We were given an unbelievable amount of gifts! I wish I could describe to you how grateful we are to each and every person that took part in giving the tea, that came to the tea, and that gave us these wonderful gifts. We feel so much more prepared and can now relax a little and focus on getting ourselves ready for the arrival of our sweet baby girl! Here are a few pictures from the tea (I wish I had taken a picture of the gift table after the tea was over! It was crazy how full it was!):

As if we are not blessed enough already, I happen to work with some of the most incredible people. The fourth grade teachers gave me a baby shower at school and invited the entire faculty and staff. The shower was actually a gift card shower, and each grade level and section of the school chipped in and purchased us gift cards from various places. These will be extremely helpful! We have used some of the them to buy a few things we still needed, and we will be able to use many of them to purchase things to help us care for Hallie such as diapers and formula. I am so thankful that God has placed me at a school where I work with people who love me and care for me! Everyone at the school has been so supportive and encouraging throughout my entire pregnancy! I am so thankful, and I love you all! Here is a picture from the shower:
