She is now eating solid foods. She loves meat and veggies. She is eating chicken, turkey, ham, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, and potatoes. She likes fruit too; she has had peaches, pears, strawberries, and manderin oranges. Her favorite breakfast food is pancakes and her favorite snack is yogurt. She absolutely loves ice cream! She will be a sweet eater I'm sure! :) She is a really good eater, but we have found things that she does not like. She is not a fan of macaroni and cheese which suprises me. What kid does not eat mac n cheese? Maybe she will one day. She is also not a fan of ravioli. Hopefully her healthy eating habits will continue.
As I said before, she is crawling all over the place. She has tried to pull up on a few things, but not consistantly and she hasn't made it all the way up. However, she does stand up on her legs with her hands on the ground all the time! She scares me! I just know she is going to nose dive one day. I wish I had a picture of her doing that to show. Pat and I have decided that she is just going to stand up on her own; no need to pull up on anything. She is just that talented! :)
She is still obsessed with her books! We have added many more to her collection this month because she loves them so much. She will sit and look at them forever. Flipping every page and opening all of the peak a boo flaps. She even will babble while she is looking sometimes and it looks just like she is reading! So cute! She is going to be a smart little girl who loves to read like her mommy and daddy!
She has always loved looking at lights. Now if you ask her "Where is the light?" she will look up at it. Sometimes she will hold her hand up to it, but she says "ggguuuhh" instead of light. She knows what she is talking about though. She also will look at the dogs if you ask her "Where is Maggie?". She hasn't figured out Harley yet. We have been working on dog though because she probably thinks that every dog is a Maggie. Ha! :)
No more teeth yet!! Hallie should have really healthy teeth since they are taking forever to come in!
Here are some pictures of Hallie at 9 months:
